There is a principle for elevating oneself to the next level.  That principle is "start at the bottom".  Often times when an opportunity presents itself we are either unaware, unprepared, or prepared.  A wise man said that, "luck is when preparation meets opportunity", agreed.  Today we will discuss being lucky.  Often times when luck arrives we accept the offer under the wrong pretense.  We should accept the offer, however the perception of luck must be examined closer.

You walk into a building, a man hands you a ticket unwarranted and for free, just because you are you.  You arrive early just incase something goes wrong.  You enter the room with no issue, but it is empty.  You are the only person there.  In the room there are chairs a stage and a single mic.  Which do you occupy?  The chair, the stage, or the mic?  Is this a matter of courage, I mean you did get lucky enough to get the ticket right?  Why not go all the way to the mic, that's where the fame is.  It's you in a room full of possibilities, full of potential, full of fame and fortune, what does someone so lucky do?

Most people would take the chair but for the wrong reason.  Fewer would take the stage but this is a matter of pride and courage.  Which of you would take the mic?  It is yours to take if you want it and nobody here to stop you, which of you would take the mic?  You are the reason for this diatribe.  I understand and believe that you have all that it takes to go for the mic.  Who thinks they can but one who can?  Who dares to be rich but one who can?  I understand you are destined to be great, but your not that lucky.

You too should take the chair and be willing to work your way to the mic, to the center stage.  If you take it now and fail then you lose, you only get one shot at the top, the fan is a fickle being.  Respect is what you lack my great friend.  Respect for the janitor you say?  I say yes!  Start there why should you look him in the eye and say 'excuse me I'm going for the mic'?  Is his job any less important?  Is it proper to contain your arrogance by putting you in as a janitor so you can fully understand that if he doesn't do his job then you won't have an audience?  Is it proper to contain your arrogance by putting you in a chair so you can feel what passion in the air really feels like?  I understand you already know but it's me and you now and nobody else, you can tell me.  Just whisper in my ear, "ok ok I don't know what to do".  Start at the bottom and work your way to the top every time yo elevate to the next level, the bottom prepares you for the top!

We start at the bottom and WORK or way to the top because we RESPECT everyone and their hard work.  We start at the bottom because LOVE of life starts there then it grows into YOU.
