I see an entrepreneur as someone who is unemployable(not unemployed). He has one foot lightly placed in the present and one foot firmly planted in the future.  What he does is his hobby, but what the world does is his business.  Thats the way dad did it, thats the way America does it, and thats the way I do It!! I'd add an entrepreneur is one who sees and develops business/financial opportunities for themselves and others, creates prosperity in their community/world and drives resources to a higher level of output to achieve a greater social benefit. That's my 2 cents for the moment, who else has a good definition?

Webster’s defines an entrepreneur as one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise.

This is a great start to the definition, but I would like to add that an entrepreneur is also a visionary, accountable and innovative …....some one that can see where that organization needs to be and provide a manageable plan to attain that goal.

I’m sure that more can be added to this…but it’s a good start.

How would you define it?
