Comment by Mike Grossman on August 30, 2011 at 10:11am I'd add an entrepreneur is one who sees and develops business/financial opportunities for themselves and others, creates prosperity in their community/world and drives resources to a higher level of output to achieve a greater social benefit. That's my 2 cents for the moment, who else has a good definition?
Comment by Jay McRae on August 29, 2011 at 8:27pm Webster’s defines an entrepreneur as one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise.
This is a great start to the definition, but I would like to add that an entrepreneur is also a visionary, accountable and innovative …....some one that can see where that organization needs to be and provide a manageable plan to attain that goal.
I’m sure that more can be added to this…but it’s a good start.
How would you define it?
